She is publishing in these areas and is currently working on testing the effectiveness of the Social Care Intervention that she developed for people living with HIV/AIDS in Ghana, and Norfolk city in the Hampton Roads Community in Virginia, USA. She is also running a grant-funded Menstrual Hygiene Management Project aimed at producing affordable sanitary pads for girls from poorer homes in Ghana who cannot afford this essential commodity.
On March 16, 2018, the US Branch of Ghana’s ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) made history by electing two women to lead its branch in the USA. For the first time, the branch elected a female Chairperson and Dr. Tina was elected Vice-Chairperson.
